Sophie & Lee

'My dear,
I have already mailed to-day's letter, but I am so proud of my privilege of writing the dearest girl in the world whenever I please, that I must add a few lines if only to say I love you. For I do love you... As the dew loves the flowers; as the birds love the sunshine; as the wavelets love the breeze; as mothers love their first-born; as memory loves old faces; as the yearning tides love the moon; as the angels love the pure in heart...
Take my kiss and my benediction, and try to be reconciled to the fact that I am
Yours forever.'
A love letter from Mark Twain to his future wife, Olivia
Sophie and Lee were travelling all the way from the beautiful UK to Budapest to celebrate their happiest day in our architectural and historically rich city. As the venue, they chose the 'wild, bohemian child of Brodyland', Brody Studios. After Sophie had contacted me with her ideas and visions, I was just wrought-up to accept the noble task to create flowers in perfect harmony with this unique, vibrant and buzzing space. Energetic reds, deep clarets, rich pinks in contrast with pure whites and worn out beiges were our ultimate color palette, a defining part of the detail oriented concept. Here I must admit, I was in such an awe of the bride's keen eye for details. Actually, I'm still in awe. Not just of her thoroughness but of the gift of creative freedom given to me, which I simply enjoyed to the max during the whole process. Feeling grateful for your trust guys from this far.
